Nicklas Bendtner Heads Back To Parken As Juve’ Take On FC Nordsjaelland In Uefa Champions League Matchday 3

Fresh from their 2-0 win over Napoli at the Juventus Stadium on Saturday afternoon, its back to work for the biaconeri, Ft player Nicklas Bendtner and the rest of the Juve’ troops will be put through their paces in an intense training session this morning at Juve HQ Vivono before heading to Copenhagen, Denmark for a big Uefa Champions League game.

Featured player Nicklas Bendtner did not get on in the win against second placed Napoli but will be hoping to make the squad as Juventus head for UCL matchday 3 in his native Copenhagen, Denmark. N.B has something of a world class scoring record when he plays in the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen it is like he relishes playing there and has put many of his best performances for Morten Olsen’s Denmark when he plays there, In the past Denmark have used him on the left edge where he can be very dangerous with his technique cutting in on his favoured right foot, playing through balls in behind, but also has been used in his preffered position central striker as somewhat a false number 9 coming deep for the ball and getting involved in link up play and interchanging with the midfield.

The squad has not yet been named for Juventus, but as you know in SerieA you’re allowed a crazy no. of 11 substitutes but in the Uefa Champions League you’re only allowed a maximum of 7 on the bench so it will be a stretch who makes the squad and who doesn’t.

FC Nordsjaelland have a very interesting history, making rapid rises in Danish football and was in the 3rd Division of Danish football in just 99′ but have made their name last season by suprisingly winning the Danish Superliga in 2012. FCN have a few Denmark national team players in Mikkelsen, Strong Centre back Andreas Bjelland and Okore.

Cheers – Matthew Collins
