Nicklas Bendtner Captains Denmark For The First Ever Time & Scores As Denmark Draw In Turkey *Video*
Featured player Nicklas Bendtner led out his native Denmark for the first time ever this evening, he had one of his quieter games in Istanbul but cooly slotted a second half penalty to give Denmark a short term lead until they were pegged back just 3 mins later by the hosts when Erding equalised with a typical strikers goal after great feet from Kerim Frei from Fulham.
Denmark dominated the majority of the gsame in terms of possesion and gave several players debuts including Ajax 18 year old Viktor Fischer. Congratulations to Nicklas Bendtner on captaining his country for the first time at the age of 24 thats no mean feat and its definately something to be proud of.
