Bendtner: No Rift With Adebayor
Nicklas Bendtner insists there is no rift between him and Emmanuel Adebayor, reports started after the defeat to Tottenham when Adebayor reportedly pushed Bendtner in the face as emotions was running high at white hart lane, the rumours have been brought back up after Adebayor’s refusal to pass to the young Dane at a crucial moment in the 2-2 draw with Birmingham and to celebrate with him after Bendtner’s last minute equaliser against Aston Villa on Saturday have further fuelled talk that all is not well in the Gunners dressing room.
Bendtner insists what happened at Tottenham is firmly in the past though, and that he is delighted with how his season has progressed.
“Things are going great at Arsenal – I feel bloody good here,” Bendtner told Ekstra Bladet.
“Things are also good with Adebayor. What happened against Tottenham is now forgotten. I do not think of it any more.
“I feel I have had a good season. It has gone well almost every time I have played – whether it has been from the start or as a substitute.
“I have made a difference and that is what I’ll continue to do.”
