Bendtner Makes Long Awaited Comeback At Villa Park

Nicklas Bendtner made his long awaited comeback in an Arsenal shirt yesterday evening at Villa Park.It had been 3 months since the Dane last kicked a ball for the Gunners & the Arsenal fans we’re delighted to see him back with ” super, super nick” ringing around the away end of the ground. He started on the substitutes bench and was introduced on the hour mark for injured teammate Eduardo Da Silva. Nicklas was used upfront at the beggining but was then sent out to the right side of the three forwards.

Nicklas had quiet a few touches last night and looked quiet sharp linking up well with his fellow teammates with nice passing, his movement was very impressive considering he has been out for 3 months. Alot of Almunia’s kicking was won by 6″4 Bendtner, and he looked a danger to the Villa defence, with Eduardo out for Sunday’s crucial Premier League game with Manchester United, Nicklas Bendtner could start and will be looking to put a end to this nightmare spell on the sidelines with a start.
