Arsenal kept up the pace today on Manchester United and Chelsea, with a 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal dominated early on and the first real chance fell to are featured player Nicklas Bendtner, who after taking a touch blasted it goalwards George Mccartney blocked it onto the bar to keep the score blank.

Arsenal started to up the pace, and the impressive Theo Walcott was giving McCartney a hard time skinning him repeatedly down that right hand side. This was the sort of performance the Arsenal fans know the Englishman is capable of and he was delivering infront of the watchful eye of Fabio Capello.

More good work donwn the right hand side this from Ivorian Emmanuel Eboue, he hit a cross shot across the face of goal and our featured player Nicklas Bendtner, who held his run well was onside to tap in from close range. Arsenal dominated throughout most of the second half with Cesc Fabregas pulling the strings.

With Arsenal not scoring that decisive second there was always a chance Sunderland would get that one chance, and it came on the hour mark England striker Darren Bent racing away from a ball through the middle. Bent looked destined to score but Almunia spreaded himself well and saved it.

Our featured player Nicklas Bendtner was trading positions with Theo Walcott all afternoon, and looked dangerous at times cutting in on his right foot with nice touches and link up play with his teammates.
