Nicklas Bendtner continued his rich vein of form with a injury-time winner at the KC Stadium, Hull. It capped a fantastic week for the Dane who has now got 9 goals overall and 6 goals in 4 games – a very impressive record from the Danish hitman since returning from a 3 month injury lay-off.

Arsenal looked to be destined for the draw but Denilson picked up the ball 30 yards or so out and let a ferocious shot go that swerved in mid air. Myhill pushed it away but there was Bendtner showing great strikers instincts to follow in on the bounce, it came at him at a diffucult height but Bendtner managed to get over the ball and hit it low in the corner to send visiting Gooners into raptures.
