Bendtner Could Return In Reserve Game In 2 Weeks + Olsen On Denmark’s EC 12 Expectations

Nicklas Bendtner is well on his way to recovery from a long lay off on the sidelines, due to an ongoing groin problem. As reported previously on the site, Bendtner has been training with the ball and doing other light training fitness workouts at London Colney in recent weeks. I believe Bendtner will return to action on October 12th in a Reserve match against The Toffee’s’ ( Everton), which will be a behind closed doors game at the Club’s training base @ Ldn Colney .

Meanwhile, Morten Olsen the Boss of the Danish National side has spoken out on their countries expectations and how people should respect the levels of the Denmark Eleven , Olsen also handed out praise to Bendtner.

Olsen Said

There was a discussion that we played too slowly, but it’s gibberish when we do not have players like Iniesta. We miss maybe a penetrative midfielder who we have had in Jakob Poulsen & Leon Andreasen. We haven’t got a Preben Elkjaer or a Michael Laudrup, so we have no player who can beat a player apart from Nicklas Bendtner.
