NB52 Set For Starting Role In Carling Cup Clash

Nicklas Bendtner’s opportunities this season have been rare suprisingly, since returning from his long injury break with a groin problem. Nicklas Bendtner is likely to be involved from the start this time around this Tuesday when Arsenal entertain the Latics at Emirates Carling Cup Quarter Final, in a crucial game in the quest to end Arsenal’s 5 year blip without any silverware  .

Bendtner played a pivotal role in the last round, when the Gunners beat Newcastle 4-1 @ St James’ Park. NB looked very sharp all night playing on the shoulder of the Newcastle defence making intelligent runs in behind Newcastle’s backline, and also coming deep showing his technicall abilities linking up well with Rosicky, Denilson and Walcott.

Some media sections have said NB cannot live up to where he wants to be, but personally i think thats cobblers, you cannot expect a player to start 1 game in 6 just come in for 1 game and perform to the best of their abilities straight away.

Those of you that have seen NB at his best will know what he is capable of e.g ( two goals for Denmark Vs Portugal, A Champions Lge hat-trick whilst not being fully fit) with his mixture of being very good technically, good in the air and quite quick along the ground NB has all the credentials to be the best around – watch this space!!
