NB52: We’ve Moved On From Birmingham Defeat + Pre Match Barca Thoughts

Arsenal needed a big performance last night against a highly determined Leyton Orient side, and there was no mistake. Nicklas Bendtner fired in a classy hat-trick only the Second player to do that in the FA Cup for Arsenal, The previous player that achieved this feat was the legend that was Ian Wright.

Bendtner stated that Arsenal must move on from Sunday Evening’s dissapointment at Wembley and also spoke about the mouthwatering Barcelona tie @ the Camp Nou.

Bendtner said . . .

It was just what we needed to bounce back in a positive way and this was the best way we could have done it.
We have to put that behind us now, and learn from it. It is a part of football and you have to move on from that.
It is done, they won it, we didn’t. We have three other things to focus on now and that is what we will do.
We have the players and the mentality to create something special. At the end of the day, we know we are going to be rated on one thing, and that is what we are trying to achieve.

It is a difficult place to go and Barcelona have not failed to score there in forever, but we have to try to do the same as we did in the FA Cup win over Leyton Orient, try to be compact and press in a good way, to have a good balance in the team and then obviously take our chances because Barcelona always score when they play at home.
Of course I have no problems leading the line. I believe now I am getting back to where I belong, and there are still improvements to make.
