Bendtner Pre-Match Norway Thoughts + Carew

Nicklas Bendtner is likely to play in his favored central striker role on Saturday, when Denmark make a short trip to Oslo, Norway to play a decisive qualifier for the European Championships in 2012. Reporters asked him what his thoughts are that Stoke powerful target man John Carew will be missing for the Norwegian’s and his own form.

NB52 Said: . . .

I think it is a great loss for Norway. He is an important player for them. Of course there are other types of players, but I think its positive he is not involved.

Bendtner was asked whether It will have an effect that himself, Christian Poulsen and Thomas Sorensen have not featured regularly for their clubs. Nicklas went on to say: . . .

I do not believe that, It becomes decisive on Saturday. The main result will be and that is what we should focus on. I think we play differently, the way we play is more attractive to me – we play it more along the ground – I think Norway play a little bit different.
