Danish Manager Olsen Relieved Denmark Don’t Have To Face Norway Now + On NB52
Denmark International Manager Morten Olsen has spoken about Denmark’s crucial encounter with Norway on the 6th September. He has talked also about featured player Nicklas Bendtner and four other members of the Danish national eleven. Morten Olsen declared that theres still a long way to go till the transfer window closes and his hopes for the NB and the other 4 to be fighting fit come kick off time.
M. Olsen . . .
I’d say that it is good we will not meet Norway now, but on the sixth of September.
I think Nick will come to a different club. He is ambitious and has also said he wants more playing time, which is very sensible. It is logical that he should be picking up steam, and it requires fighting.
One should be fit to play, and Nick is a great size to be very fit to participate in the kind of football we want to play.
Transfer window is long, the market works right now very dead, but picks up in the trades in late July. I have an idea that’s going to happen during this week and next.
The Dane’s also face Scotland in an international friendly on August 10th 2011, expect NB to be involved in that tie which will take place at Scottish ground Hampden Park.
