N.B-52 Plays Big Role In Helping Sunderland Comeback Against W.B.A In Premiership Encounter + *Video*

Sunderland were left shell shocked earlier on when West Bromwich Albion took a 2 goal lead in the first 5 minutes. Firstly a foul was given middway through the Mackems half, It was swung in by Chris Brunt and Scotsman James Morrison got on the end of it with a header to put the visiting side in the lead. Then just one minute later, a long ball was hit down field a misunderstanding between the backline let in the impressive Irishman, Shane Long finished to make it 2-0. Sunderland had clearly not started to get things going till after the first 5 minutes. The game was very stretched from then on, Bendtner was linking up well with Sessegnon on occasions and the two could be very dangerous combination both good technically and compliment each others game with a big man-little man combination similar to the combination that Nicklas adopted with Arturo Lupoli, where the big Dane hit 22 goals and assisted many for the little Italian.

Sunderland’s first goal was good stuff, it was 5 aside stuff to be fair, Sessegnon passed inside to Seb Larsson, who exquisetly back heeled to N.B52 and his shot that was going on target took a deflection of the West Brom defender before beating the goalkeeper. It was great stuff from Sunderland. Nicklas Bendtner then produced a bit of magic to get The Mackems’ back in it. He recieved the ball out wide before jinking inside with some nice feet, and firing a lovely inswinging cross was met by the Egyptian right winger Elmohamady. Sunderland were all square, they had alot to thank to the 6″4 Dane, he again showed he has got alot more than his height, with feet and precision crossing that some top left wingers in the Barclays Premiership would be proud of.

The teams went into the break at 2-2 it was your typical frantic Barclays Premier League match, end-to-end stuff. Sunderland started the second half like they ment business, Seb Larsson whipping in a dangerous cross trademark of him, Wes Brown met it with his head, but it just went wide. Stadium.Of.Light is a massive pitch and both teams were using that to their advantage looking to stretch the game on occasions, Sessegnon was doing some nice dribbles and his work rate was impressive. N.B52 was dropping deep and looking to link up with Sessegnon on many occasions, a one-two later on nearly got The Mackems’ in the lead but Ben Foster was equal to N.B-52’s drive. It ended 2-2 and it was a really entertaining game.

N.B-52 Prediction: Nicklas had a really good game, it’s his 4th game for Sunderland but you can tell he is developing a real understanding with the likes of C-Gardner, Sessegnon and Seb Larsson. NB was bringing the ball down well all afternoon and was always willing to come deep and put in another teammate with a through ball. When i watched him at Arsenal, the boss liked to play him on the wings some people didn’t know why but he is blessed with good feet and a cross on him, he showed that today with Elmohamady’s header. The team spirit was great and if I’d pick a player for MOTM It’d be Nicklas or Sessegnon.
