Arsene Wenger: Never Say Never On N.B-52 Return + New Striking Partner Admits He Will Be Missed For SAFC’s Clash With The Gunners’ On Sunday + Skills/Goals *Video*

Nicklas Bendtner is on fire at the moment, with 3 assists and breaking his Sunderland A.f.c duck with a deflected effort last week, and 3 goals in his last 3 games for his native Denmark, He is starting to show now with consistent playing week in week out, the class he has always had, I think with consistent games under his belt down the North-East will only show what he is all about 6″4 with great technique, good pace and nice vision, you don’t get many players being so tall with such a good level of technique and mobility. He will no doubt be key to The Mackem’s season, Since 2005, I thought NB could definately make it into the world class category, he has undoubtedly had alot of doubters along his way, but now is showing the form and class he always had.

Arsene Wenger, arguably the best coach/manager in developing young talent and blooding them through has spoke on N.B-52 possibly next season maybe returning to The Gunners’. As a AFC supporter I’d love to see that happen, but who knows. N.B-52’s new team-mate, Sessegnon, has lavished praise on featured played Bendtner. having watch some of Sunderland’s highlights on Sky, the two are building a great partnership with nice link up play and one coming deep and the other running in behind, vice-versa. It actually reminds me of the partership NB made with Italian Arturo Lupoli in the Arsenal B team. The 5″7 Benin man is a typical small player, with a low centre of gravity and has impressive feet.

Sessegnon has said :

It’s a shame that he can’t play at Arsenal and it’ll be a big loss to us. He’s an intelligent player, with great technique who’s really good on the ball. He’s very mobile, too, for a big man. He’s playing a big part for us at the moment.

We’ve had the opportunity to play together for a few games now and we’re beginning to understand each other,At the moment, he’s going into every game with the hunger to do well. He provides us with a lot because every time the ball goes up to him, it sticks. He’s playing at his best at the moment and he’s always got that confident mentality anyway.Hopefully, his goal will be the first of many for us.

Arsene Wenger :

In our job, you never say never. You do always what is right for your club. If it is right for the Club to get Nicklas Bendtner back, the Club will do it. I know Nicklas very well. I like him as a player. I know as well that he likes to talk but that is part of his personality. You will never get that out of him. It will not only depend on us, it will depend on him. But we are not there yet – there is a long way to go. He is at Sunderland for the season – we wish him well. It is important he plays, he has quality and he must show that.

Cheers – Matthew Collins
