N.B-52 – We’ll Do Everything We Can To Get Positive Result

Denmark started group B in fine fashion by suprisingly beating the Dutch, but on Wednesday evening was totally the opposite, featured player Nicklas Bendtner scored twice for Denmark to take his tally to 20 International goals and leave the Danes jubailant from coming back to 2-2 the joy was short lived though with Porto winger Varela hitting a suckerpunch in the 87th minute.

Denmark still have fate in their own hands but face a very tough and efficient Germany side, If the Danes are to progress they will need the flair players to be on their game – Nicklas Bendtner, Christian Eriksen and Krohn-Dehli to be on their game. Also expect to see either Mikellsen or Daniel Wass involved because of the injury to speedster Rommedahl both are exciting talents quick with good technique. Nicklas Bendtner has said expect to see Denmark do everything they can to get the result they need to progress to Euro 12 last eight.

Bendtner –

It’s always nice to know you still have a chance in a tournament but if we lose that game then we’re out. You can expect us to do everything we can just to get a positive result.

All 11 of us fought hard to get back into the game, Things looked good and it was a fantastic feeling to score the equaliser. In the end, there might be some people out there who are disappointed but we did everything we could. We knew we would be the underdogs when the draw was made but we don’t want to focus on that now.  We have put in two great performances – we have done very well and that’s something we can develop further. A good game for the full 90 minutes against Germany and we will get a good result
